We are a media nation! Media was talking about Iraq last six years we were protesting. Now, media stopped talking about Iraq and no protests though Iraqi people and our soldiers still die there but no one interested any more.
Actually, our soldiers do die in Afghanistan right now. Our administration gives in to Russia and Iran to put even more soldiers in Afghanistan. For those who don’t know geography I explain that Afghanistan in the middle of Asia landlocked country and in order to transport troops and supply there we have to be nice with Russians and Iranians because they can close ways and we loose our soldier and the war. It is Russia and Iran that responsible for chaos in Afghanistan but it will be American soldiers to die there for attempt to bring democracy to a society that still on middle age level of development. But media keeps silence. Bush was a bad guy and always guilty but Obama is a good guy and we shouldn’t know his failures and discuss any possibility of failures.
Today media becomes a hammer to the rich. They paid themselves bonuses from taxpayers’ monies. As a taxpayer I don’t like it either but let’s see whose fault it is? Who really should be blamed? I believe the government! It was a ‘painful’ decision if our congress to buy out financial sector and transfer there unimaginable sums of monies. Would you believe that congressmen didn’t know that the financial guys have bonus agreements? If our congressmen didn’t know that it means we elected idiots to represent us and we are punished. If they did know they are crooks. I believe that the money should have been transferred on certain conditions that should have been mentioned on a piece of paper. In that case the government could sue the agreement breakers to get the bonuses back. Right now it reminds a fight after a fight and I believe that populists’ speeches of our leaders bring more harm than benefits. Connecticut authorities released names of the financiers who got the money for what purpose? Some even go for a tour there to see how they live. What for? Are they blamed to be rich? I saw faces of angry activists. Why these people instead of working and trying to increase their own property came not to congress but to Wall street. Look at their faces. After the highly paid fanancial specialists leave our country looking for better conditions oversees who is going to take their place? May be the activists took their places? I am scared of such an idea.
I have even better idea the most of our new administration as well as congressmen are millionaires. Why they during the crisis wouldn’t refuse their salaries and transfer them to something good. I think that they should also organize tours to show people that they live like other riches. But millionaires politicians blame other millionaires that they are more millionaires that they.
You know it makes me believe that ideas of Marx and Lenin came to America. These ideas made Russia back for many years and put it on verge distinction. The ideas are primitive to keep everyone poor and equal in poverty. We are moving toward there. Congrats!
